IKORODU NORTH COUNCIL BOSS SET DROP APPOINTEES

Members of the newly inaugurated executive council in Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area of Lagos State have been advised to resign if their mission in government was to make money.

The Council Chairman, Prince Adeola Jokomba gave the advice shortly after the newly appointed political officers took the Oath of Office and allegiance performed by the Council Legal Adviser, Bar. Ismail Tijani at the Council Secretariat, Isiwu-Ikorodu.

Prince Jokomba who stressed the need for the appointed officers to be punctual at office maintained that portfolios would only be assigned based on experience and academic qualification.

Members of the newly constituted executive includes: Hon. Abiodun Iyiola, Hon. Shukurat Adewunmi-Okeowo, Hon. Muyiwa Odudiran, Hon. Odidi Jimoh as well as Hon. Azeez Afolabi.
Others are Mrs Jumoke Okuyiga, Mr Sesan Odueyingbo, Mr Abdul Azeez Okematti and Mr Aro Balogun.

We gathered that some of the appointees have been lobbying for juicy offices as the Council Chairman may assign portfolios tomorrow.
